[In honor of the Earth holiday centering on love, Freya sends out a little gift around this time.

A small box containing a piece of chocolate will appear on your pillow during the day. When consumed, the chocolate’s magic will lift your mood for a short period of time. It’s accompanied by a note.]

Where love might bring about sorrow, it also welcomes joy.

[ In honour of the god centering on love being a giant frilly prissypants, Loki sends his own little gift just a few hours after hers.

His box of chocolate will look, smell, and taste exactly like Freya's did, appearing right next to where Freya's was or is if you haven't picked it up yet. The only difference between the two is that Loki's won't lift your mood; it'll give you loud and embarrassing flatulence for the next three hours.

It's also accompanied by a note. ]

Where joy might bring about yearning, it also welcomes wonder.

Powers are clear again. First order of business: healer.

[Judging by his tone, it's not a request, it's an order. You'd never know that behind those firm words is a man who's really in absolutely no position to be giving orders himself. There's a reason it's a voice message when he's not that far away, after all.]

[Tosh has been keeping to her own room for obvious reasons - like the fact that it bloody hurts to walk, and she's afraid that her stitches will rip out, since sewing thread obviously isn't intended for medical use. She gives the bracelet a suspicious look, though, as Jack hasn't come to see her himself since she's been injured.]

What about you?

[...because it's an educated guess. She'll see if he confirms it himself.]

I'm fine. [Liar. He's rather good at it, though. Several lifetimes of practice.] More worried about you than anything else. You need to get that wound taken care of properly.

[He refuses to see her die like that again. And even if it's not at bad this time around, the fact that it's the same injury that bled the life from her eyes while he held her last time...]

And what if something else happens? What if there are people who need it more than I do, Jack? I know healing takes energy from the healers, and after what happened, I'm sure there are people who are worse off than I am. It's just a flesh wound, nothing more.

Besides, I don't even know any healers.

[Other people can wait.]

I'll find one for you, then. There's plenty in the city, and it's what a lot of them do. Flesh wound or not, Tosh, you're seeing a healer.

[Tosh suspects he's less fine than he lets on; she's known him the longest out of any of the members of Torchwood, after all, and she's not as bad at reading people as others might assume she is.]

And you aren't? Does Ianto know about that?

[Oh, he's nowhere near as fine as he sounds, she's a smart cookie. But his team comes first, he'll worry about himself later. And there is absolutely no need to bring Ianto into this, that's playing dirty.]

[Although, knowing Ianto, he's probably done more than enough worrying for the both of them.]

[Project? Bullshit. If he'd been capable of doing so, he would have come to see her as soon as possible after he'd heard she'd been injured. Thus, he must be incapable of it right now.]

[He actually did try to at one point, the same piece of tech that's been sitting on his desk since Ianto came home yesterday. It hadn't ended well. But like hell he's admitting to that. She gets an innocent tone instead.]

[His tone is teasing, but he means it. It was one of the things about her that initially attracted his attention all those years ago, after all. As for the rest of that... His tone remains light.]

Do you really think I'm going to leave off getting myself healed? Really? I mean, I'm not that much of a masochist, thank you, just a little, and usually only in the right circumstances with the right people.

[Can you hear the smirk in his voice? It's not like Jack has ever kept his sexual preferences or exploits a secret, and he has a fairly good idea that he's been seen plenty of times. Also, nope, not acknowledging that last bit, but he is going to start looking for a healer now.]

I think most people could probably suspect that sort of thing within about five minutes of meeting you, Jack. And practically anything else related to sex.

[Her tone sounds a little easier now - easy enough to banter, anyway. She'll have to speak to Ianto later and make sure that Jack's done it, though she figures that even if he doesn't, Ianto himself will make sure to find a healer.]

And what's wrong with that? [His voice is more playful now, appeased in that she's agreed finally.] There is nothing about sex to be ashamed of. Ever.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it, Jack. [She sounds amused by the turn their conversation has taken.] It's just that some people don't always want to hear that sort of thing. By which I obviously mean people who haven't spent years working with you, of course.

[Good, he'll take amused. He likes seeing- or hearing, as the case may be- Tosh in a good mood, because its far too often that she's troubled. He'll take the time to egg that amusement on, for now.] So that means, for as long as you've worked with me, you don't mind, right?

[Tosh just snorts at the question.] I'm certainly used to it, Jack.
